I know I've been harping on about how beautiful the weather is in London with all the sunshine bla bla bla but when something as amazing as Maje's Fall/Winter collection look book drops into your inbox it's simply too hard to ignore. The thought of wrapping up in Winter clothes at the moment is my worst nightmare but this new collection has me almost, I repeat ALMOST, longing for the winter months.  The high collar/cape/tucked in hair combo has my name written all over it... I'm coming for you.

Summer is finally here in London and I feel confident about saying that without having the worry of jinxing the whole country.  We have been forecast 40 days of pure uninterrupted sunshine and the capital is embracing it wholly.  Summer weather has the tendency to drive us Brits slightly crazy as it's not something we get very often.  I notice that the heat effects people's fashion choices, ladies, sometimes less is more and just because the sun is out doesn't mean you need to wear every colour of the rainbow all at once.  If in doubt, keep it simple and go monochrome.  You cant go wrong.

Friday afternoons at work call for one thing. Burgers.  We are careful with what we eat all week, working like crazy, then Friday comes around and you throw all your cares out the window and decide to treat yourself with a big juicy burger and mountains of fries.  My usual burger crew (yes we are a crew as we enjoy burgers together far too much) headed to St. Christopher's Place and decided on Burgers & Cocktails (formerly Guerilla Burger).  I went for The American Burger.  A big medium rare patty topped with bacon and cheese (I swapped out the American for Blue) with gherkins, red onions and the house salsa smeared all over the bun.  We ordered sides of sweet potato and crinkle fries to share and I can honestly say they were the best sweet potato fries I've ever eaten, I only wish I'd ordered a whole portion to myself!
