GRANNY'S CLOSET

As children, we've all been round grandma's house and found the most exciting thing was to play dress up in her closet.  Nothing felt more grown up than to wrap her pearls around my neck, slip my feet into her now vintage Vivier's and engulf my then tiny body in her famous furs (sorry peta).  Wildfox have brought all these wonderful memories flooding back with their resort collection Granny's Closet.  With a genius concept and even greater genius styling, this collection has been created with a brilliant sense of humour and makes me want it all.... even the grey hair which I'm totally crushing on at the moment.

Is this seriously not the best picture you've ever seen?

LOUIS VUITTON MINI

I love a giant buttery soft leather handbag as much as the next woman who finds it a necessity to carry their entire life with them, but only when it's appropriate.  One of my biggest pet peeves are women who carry around enormous designer purses to the most inappropriate places like nightclubs or nice restaurants.  Have you not heard of a clutch?  Nothing makes me cringe quite like seeing someone all dolled up for a night on the tiles teetering in vertigo inducing heels, trying to balance the weight of their Prada Saffiano and not break their neck.  Rant over.  Louis Vuitton have decided to embrace the 'less is more' motto and have put together a project titled Small Is Beautiful. Using three of the hottest bloggers, Hanneli Mustaparta, Elin Kling and Miroslava Duma, LV have created a young, fun macaroon filled video shot on the beautiful streets of Paris to celebrate all things mini.

AUGER PRINTS

These gorgeous prints are created by a wonderfully talented person who combines music, movement and dance to create the most stunning and mesmerising designs.  The designer, Emily, will not reveal the exact technique used to make the designs and I think the mystery that that adds to her creations make them all the more delicious.  Take a look at Emily's blog here to view all her designs and head over to here if you love them enough to buy one of the many products she prints on.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS

I was just looking back at last years 'Christmas is a coming' post and I actually did rather well, scoring 3 out of the 5 items that were on my wish list.  Following last years success (I'm wondering whether my boyfriend took a sneaky look at the post before he did his Christmas shopping... or did I flat out ask for these things from him, I cant remember?!) I decided to post another wish list.  Who knows, maybe some of my loved ones will stumble across this page, or I may direct them here, or I may just adopt brat mode and say 'get me this for Christmas!'  Probably not the last one as that's not really keeping within the Christmas spirit.  I'm off to eat a mince pie.

THE BREAKFAST CLUB

Today's lunch called for an outing to Soho to visit The Breakfast Club.  I know the name of this particular establishment may suggest one obvious thing, breakfast, but The Breakfast Club is so much more than that.  They must be doing something right when there's a queue outside at 1:30pm on a Tuesday afternoon.  It's small, it's bright, it's full of beautiful people and the food is delicious.  It's easy to see why The Breakfast Club is one of THE places to be at the moment. K decided she'd have breakfast, even though it was clearly lunch time.  A plate full of pancakes, eggs, mushrooms and hash browns which she smothered an immense amount of golden syrup all over.  J went for the good old cheeseburger which although sounds average was about as tall as a house thanks to one of the thickest burgers I've ever seen.  I had a pulled pork sandwich.  Delicious smoky pulled pork in a bun with cheese, coleslaw and skin on fries.  Pretty much the perfect meal if you're having a terrible day (which I was).  I left feeling full, happy and like I wanted to go back for dinner in a few hours time.

THE LOOK FASHION SHOW

The Royal Courts of Justice were, for one Saturday only, filled with a different kind of royalty, fashion royalty.  LOOK magazine hosted a fashion show to showcase high street and online retailers' different collections.  Kelly Brook opened the show and stormed the runway in a tiny silver dress from her New Look collection.  Uniqlo, Warehouse and Mango were among some of the other high street names showing off their collections.  A guest performance from Alesha Dixon and Ashley Walters got the crowd excited and maybe just maybe a few people (me) had a little sing along to Misteeqs Scandalous which Alesha decided to perform!  The front rows were littered with the likes of Mark Wright, Caroline Flack, Michelle Keegan and Lydia Bright to name a few.  The champagne was yummy, the clothes were on point and the confetti fireworks at the end scared the life out of me but had me grinning like a cheshire cat.

INSTAGRAM CATCH UP

The busy (lazy) bloggers saviour is Instagram.  Perfect for a round up of all the goings on of which there are far too many of and far too little time to blog about.
