Backstage hair and make-up Jo Frost applying the stencil Backstage hanging out with the hanging clothes! The Ashley Isham show was held in Il Bottaccio in Grovsenor Place, a beautiful location for beautiful dresses! Isham's signature draping was ever present in stunning floor length gowns teamed with teased, backcombed hair fit for any goddess. There were rich colour tones combined with intricate detail such as embellishment and laser-cut leather which showcased Isham's talent for attention to detail. Backstage, make-up artist Jo Frost used Illamasqua products to create a soft dreamy look married with baroque edginess. The models had baroque style 'tattoos' stenciled onto their foreheads which instantly hardened the overall romantic make-up style. For the final walk, six 'brides' lined up in short white dresses, each with a different hint of colour. As they began their final strut down the runway, an explosion of gold foil glitter rained down from above adding the most perfect theatrical element to an elegant yet modern show.

The most important week in the Fashion calendar is upon us. The cobbles around Somerset House are about to start clacking with the sound of high heels for six days straight. It's time to spot new trends on and off of the runway from the most fashionable people in the industry. Until Friday, here are a few of my favourite images from some of the shows I attended last year. To see these in more detail click 'February' in the blog archive list.
