This is the final of my fashion week posts (insert sad face here) and it came in the form of NEWGEN sponsorship winners KTZ. They describe their design signatures as "a mix of couture meets street" which was clear on the s/s 2011 runway when they combined knuckle dusters and long shorts with delicate gold crowns complete with fleur de lis's. The show included men and women... although at times it was hard to distinguish between the two with the long straightened hair. The embossed leather work seen on the shoes, dresses and rucksacks was intricate and elegant making the pieces truly beautiful. Contrasting the beauty were much harsher elements in the collection such as bold gold knuckle duster rings, hooded cloaks and baseball caps teamed with devil horns. I'd say that most of the clothing was wearable, dependant on one's level of fashion boldness, it takes a certain type of person to wear gold foil sweats and hoodies along with shorts and jackets printed with fleur de lis's and stripes. All of the above makes KTZ truly unique and secretly... I want one of those gold crowns!
I wore: New Look wedges and oversized cardigan, Cos skirt and KAiN tee.
