My second day of fashion week bought me to witness the genius creations of Mr. Mark Fast. Fast's work is intricate, sexy and mixes fun with danger. The barely there clothes, a mix of open-stich knits, fringing and Swarovski crystals are not to be taken lightly. The spring 2011 collection certainly requires bravery and the term 'bodycon' was taken to a whole new level. There was no fear in using colour, fabulous patent neon's were used in contrast with the stunningly dark and silky skin colour of some of the models as well as bright fringing swinging hypnotically from the hem lines of many of the dresses. The finale dress was however virgin white. The model appeared at the end of the runway, lit from behind giving off an angelic aura. The floor length white fringing and over sized white platforms blended wonderfully into the catwalk making the model appear as though she were floating down the runway. The perfect end to the perfect collection. Bravo Mr. Fast.
I wore, Topshop jumper dress, Reiss belt, New Look wedges.
