Notting Hill carnival took place over the weekend in... Notting Hill duh! I'm a regular around this area, however it looked slightly different this time around! This wasn't my first time, I've been to the carnival before, however it never ceases to amaze me as to what extent the streets are transformed. You would never think you're in the same street that you usually sashay down with a fruit booster smoothie swooning into the windows of glorious vintage shops. Oh no my friend, this is quite a different experience. The smoothies are swapped for beers, the stunning vintage shops have all of their windows boarded up for safety reasons and the air is vibrant with the smell of jerk chicken! The streets become a colourful explosion of people from everywhere and anywhere and thats what I love about it, well that and the jerk chicken! I wore Topshop denim shorts and checked shirt, Cos tee, MAC lipstick in MOrange and I borrowed the Nike Hightops off the boy! We practically have the same shoe size, he's a wee bit bigger so I wore two pairs of normal socks and a pair of purple slipper socks to pad them out!

I went to the London Electronic dance festival in Victoria Park and it was so much fun! I got to see David Guetta live for the first time and he lived up to everyones expectations which I'm sure you can imagine! It was great fun getting my wellies dirty after almost a year of them sitting clean in the garage! We drank Gaymers cider and danced the day and night away. I went for the dusty pink hair which was a winner with all of my friends! A tropical turban from Topshop, leggings from Americal Apparell, LnA tee, Topshop denim shirt, wellies from Office and Primark bag. My nails were Taupe by OPI and showcased gorgeous chanel nail decals courtesy of Frassy which I will be wearing FOREVER from now on!

I was trying out Festival Hair. I'm going to LED festival in Victoria Park next Friday and I wanted cool hair. I spotted some pink hairspray today whilst I was out at the shops and thought I would purchase it and have a pre-festival run. The result? WINNER. It's not bright pink, it looks dusty pink and I LOVE IT. I'll be buying some more and dusting up my hair for LED. Let's rave!

I want Acne, Nastygal and all thing Babooshka! These are all things faboosh and I NEED!
Let's go:
Acne is doing all things baggy. Baggy jumpsuits, pants, sweaters, and harems. A lot of dark, earthy tones perfect for A/W and sticking asymetrics as well as monochrome, black on white on black.
Babooshka is also going for oversized. The black oversized dress is my fav aswell as the super chic motorcycle cardigan. They are also follwoing the 'mockings' (mock stockings) trend with their thigh high nude and black panel leggings... uber cool.
Nastygal are just spot on with EVERYTHING! Oversized, maxi, mesh, high waisted, pleather and animal print. The winner for me is the leopard print maxi skirt.... this item can do no wrong!
